baby hat finished on Flickr.
The baby hat is finished! I knitted this without a pattern. The blues are Crayon cotton boucle, from Knitpicks (old order, no longer sold). The pink is some sort of polyester novelty yarn. I started with 64 stitches and did k2 p2 until I lost my 5th dpn at the park. Then I made the pink purl raised stripe and switched to stockinette to decrease and finish up. There is one more raised purl stripe, in dark blue, in the middle of the stockinette decreasing peak. I may change out the tassel, as it seems a little big to me. For the time being, I’ll leave it as is. Little baby hats only fit for such a short time.
